I know this is an old post but this belongs on the end of it.
I finally made the big lock back knife kit that's been on my shelf for the best part of a year! Finally getting a round tuit

Right, on with the show...
I missed some of the early pic's so this starts with the scales fitted, the liners flatted and the filework done.

The rivets are peined over and then it's ready for the finishing. the blade is dead but I still covered it.

The rough finishing with the 1/2" belt sander

Hand finished with 400 then 1200 grit emery.

Finally polished up and the blade sharpened.

My attempt at a bit of fancy filework!
