Re the shed stove.
Yeah, I know. But since a bit of a problem with the old ticker a few years ago I haven't to get cold. Nor too hot. Bit of a bummer really. But there you go.
The BMW/Citroen is purely an 'interesting' project for projects sake. My daily car is a Citroen Saxo 1.5 Diesel. And I also have a Citroen 1.9 Diesel ZX that really just needs a bit of welding.
Viva La France, as we say in Keighley; (but sotto voce)
The 1.9 XUD runs very well on bio, Even 100%. But I don't want to take the risk of blocking up my fuel pump in winter.
I'll post a few pics as (when) the project gets going.
Dave.
David D,
Standard pot belly. The stove, not me.

Wasn't dissing the shed stove... Was more intrigued TBH
I like the idea, Would just have to know I was going in there in order to plan it... Maybe in a few years, when I have time on my hands!
Knew you'd have a little runabout somewhere :) You like the French stuff then? I have worked on many of the French brand of motors and find Citroen by far the most awkward!
Followed by Peugeot and then Renault. That said, they're all becoming a nightmare with the so called "advancements" in technology :borg: :zap: :loco:
Still, as said.... I'm still expecting a good read on the engine swap and fuel info  Always interested in such stuff :)
Ralph.
