Hi all,
Just saying hello. Guess I'm just another mostly - retired grey beard mechanic/machinist.
Got a big shed, lots of spare time and little money; Sound familiar ?
My modeling is centred around a 3.5" guage Fowler 4f and various adaptions for my old lathe (make unknown, but old).
There are are various other projects that are loosely connected to alternative power. Then there is always my old BMW to be fitted with a Citroen xud engine; but not this winter.
Anyway, hope to meet more of you all here as things crop up.
Dave.
Did I read that a member is working on a Land Rover ? The word Masochist springs readily to mind.

Hi Dave... Welcome to the collective :borg: (ha! first)
I have to ask.... Why fit a BMW with a Citroen engine? Surely you're asking for trouble? :)
Landrovers.... Yep, the introduction under yours is from Benji aka Mark who has one he's working on... I also work/worked on them, these days one bright yellow one in particular! I can think of worse.... Citroen to start with!! :)
Well, kick back enjoy yourself and remember the golden rule.... :worthless:
Well not specifically this post but you get the idea..... Many of the members can't read so need pictures ( joke fellas  )
Ralph.

Hi Dave,
Do we assume your BMW is a proper one, that is it has only two wheels, not a hotted up, tarted up, spiv mobile. As a well known writer on BMWs calls their cars.
Still can't see why you would want to lower the tone of the thing with a froggie engine, though.
Yup, all of your descriptions sound oh so familiar.
Welcome aboard
Ned
