Many thanks gents for all the well wishes.

I have been very worried over the last few months, and doing a bit of posting, and receiving all your well wishes on here has really kept me together. Taking my mind away from my problem.

It is just like having a load of mates around you, you don't have time to feel sorry for yourself.

I know exactly what you mean Ralph, get more than a couple in my kitchen, and it looks like the crowd scene from Ben Hur. But as I say, the more, the merrier. If you can find a seat, you are welcome to stay and partake of a bit of refreshment (or in Ralph's case, choccies). At last count there are nine in the garden, three in the shop, and little would you believe it, up to five in the kitchen.
I can't remember how many people have met new friends in my little kitchen over all the years I have been running an open workshop, it must run into the hundreds, and many have gone away and kept in touch with each other. It gives me a warm glow to think that my time being a communal watering hole hasn't been wasted. Everyone needs friends, even the ones who think they don't.
