I have just been reading the other post of the same name, nice one on the RT, I find if you are fair with suppliers, they do tend to throw in a few sweeteners.

But getting to Glens hard luck story.

I will tell you mine, but it doesn't start until thursday.

Normally in this country, with the national health service, the wait for certain treatments can take years, I'm sure they are hoping that you will cure yourself in the meantime.
I had a phone call this week, come for an MRI scan this thursday evening, things are looking up, it was only booked about four weeks ago. I just pity the poor operator, because of my medications, I suffer chronic flatulence, and being unable to move, it will just have to come out, no holding back. First bit of good news.

Anyway the saga continues. First thing on Friday morning I have to see the doc, and I am expecting him to allow me back into the shop, so I can work on my machines.

So that is really two good bits of news in just two days. Can it continue?

On Saturday, my German friend who I haven't seen since just after I arranged their marriage in the UK, and has been living in Moscow for about the last seven years has decided to fly in from Nice, where he is attending a seminar with his Russian wife, who is an emminent doctor and an international speaker, specialising on childrens dietry problems and needs.

She is going back to Moscow, he is coming to stay with us, FOR AT LEAST SIX WEEKS, maybe longer. He wants to arrange for an operation over here, plus set it all up so he can move over here permanently, without his wife!! I don't even think she knows yet.

We live in a small two bedroomed house with our grandson. So for sleeping the wife is moving in with the grandson on a put you up, I will be on the couch, while he gets our bedroom. We will have to see how it goes, and if it isn't working, he will be out of it into a B&B.

Bad news ALWAYS follows good.

So for anyone visiting, expect to meet a stranger. One good point, he speaks very good English, a lot better than my German.

John hope all goes well and the doc and he lets you back into the shop.  I go for my Rizodomy tomorrow morning, will probably be on skype during the day tomorrow recuperating.

John the Modern MRI are a lot better these days they PUMP air in to by your face so you will be ok , just dont offer to fix the bearings, ( youill know what I mean after you have it done) boy are you lucky the old ones where a very tight fit and they wedged you with foam ( rat and drain pipe) and it took hours or untill the clostifobia kicked in , I cannot wit for them to ask you if you have EVER had any metal splinters......... I can see you doing a puppet with your hands following the magnets.. :lol:
