Do you need the finger space? Can't you mount the chuck to the plate and then the plate to the RT with the MT2?

Darn it never thought of that  :doh:

That never occurred to me Darren, I was thinking RT bolted on table, bolt chuck to RT, not:- bolt chuck to RT bolt assembly to table, that certainly would work.

Still, you have the job basically done now, so why worry about it.

Thinking about it the way I've gone does give me the option to take chuck from RT mount on lathe, machine a feature, and return it to the RT and still maintain concentricity/position, but when I would use that facility I don't know  :scratch:. but its there.

I'm happy with what I've got  :D
