A steamboat..
« on: April 30, 2011, 12:57:42 PM »
I needed some small things to my boat today and went to my local supplier, and there she where, one of the most beautiful steamship I ever have seen. A real queen…

The ship is built in Oregon 1986 length 7 m x 2 m steam engine Stuart 6A

I am sorry I did not have my regular camera, just my mobile so the photos is not of the best quality but I think that you can enjoy the steamboat.

Tug, that's brilliant, considering that it was in Swedish (I think)  :)

I've cut the end off it twice, but it's still too short

By way of a translation. from Finnish to English:

We do have a vocal sweedish speaking minority over here...a bit like Canadian have their duplex. Some like their le bic macks!

Very nice boat. Why is that combination of wood and brass such appealing? Is it the FEEL of good honesta materials and forms that are no pretentious?
