The Rock
« on: July 22, 2009, 06:01:21 PM »
Someone mentioned the scenery by my house....well you know that rock....?

This lives on it, caught it on camera this morning. It's not a very good picture more of a silhouette unfortunately. Any bird watchers out there?
Zoom in you might get enough detail to tell what it is if you are into birds.

You will find it a distinct help… if you know and look as if you know what you are doing. (IRS training manual)

That's what I was going to say, hawk too. The tail sort of gives it away.

You guys do have hawks in Britian right? Here in the states that would be a red tailed.

Here is the one that frequents my back yard, They are raised downtown on the office building to eat the pigeons. But they hang out and eat the squirrels, rabbits and doves around my yard. I guess they get tried of squab everyday :D

And this is Chuckie the ground hog, wood chuck or a whistle pig!

There are two of them that live under the material storage behind the shop.
