Hi folks,
We start the week with the cleanup after the Wicani Jamboree, the marquee comes down, and all the stuff is put away till next year. Then its back on to field maintenance, removal of some dead Elder trees, some canopy lifting, and a general tidy up of what is virtually the last area of undergrowth that we are going to clear! We stand in danger of finishing all the field work for the year! Video goes live at 4pm BST!

Hi folks,
We get a load more work in the field completed, in fact, further than we have ever got before at this time of year! I strip the hot wash pump, and make a cock up putting it back together! I will have it right!! With lots of Fordson Major action! Rain stopped play late Friday afternoon with only another hours work left!

Hi folks,

The week begins on the Frank steam Cleaner which now has a fully functioning water pump, now that I have discovered that water does not flow uphill! the burner needs setting up, all the circuit mods I did ages ago are working, but the burner is poor and smoky, which is down to poor fuel atomisation due to low delivery pressure at the pump regulator, I see a 0-200 psi gauge on my shopping list! All was going well Thursday, I was happily strimming away whilst Keith was grass cutting, and then he drove over to me holding half the mower blade in his hand!  We eventually got it fixed as the blade is a long obsolete pa! Video goes live at 4-00pm BST

Hi folks,
Monday was new tyres on the Volvo for MOT Tuesday, so my week started on Wednesday with three days of hard physical slog in front of us clearing an area that has probably about 15 years of bramble growth over the top of mixed garbage and timber! It was a hard slog but the worst is over and all we have to do now is undergrowth removal and chainsawing! We will overcome!

Hi folks,

Another mixed week of field work and workshop tinkering. The weather proved better than predicted, but that is not going to last forever, and we are almost finished with field work for the year, and the truth is we have almost finished all that we hoped to achieve this year, and probably some that was spur of the moment, unplanned "lets do that"! It is looking amazing!  Friday we tackled a job that should have been done ages ago! The faithful Westwood has been used for several years with no reverse gear, which makes it really hard to get out of tight spots, and impossible to cut backwards, which it will do! The fix turned out to be much easier than expected! Video will go live at 4PM BST!
