Hi Fletch you have made a brilliant job of restoring your lathe.  How long did it take?  I restored an old 5 inch lathe quite some time ago, and thoroughly enjoyed it, I couldn't leave it alone once I had started. Have you got any projects planned for it?

                                                              Cheers  David

I was the same Dave its addictive you don't want to stop.

It took about 6 weeks in all because I refilled the gearbox with fresh oil but it was a mess inside I will try and post some pictures

You've done a fine job there, Fletch.

Well done!

Still modifying bits of metal... Occasionally, making an improvement!

Hi fletch that oil looks as old as the lathe, certainly the worst condition oil I have ever come across.

                                                     Nice pics    Cheers David

Now Fletch, on other forums you've posted that lathe with a curvaceous gorgeous creature draped over it but here we've been denied the pleasure.

I reckon she did the work and you watched
