Is that a scale Vincent Black Shadow or is it a big bloke ????

The petrol [ gas ? ] tank does not look right though ...  :scratch:

I think it is the perspective and wide angle lens causing the bike to look small. That oil spot underneath is authentic enough though.

well guys it looks a bit twee to me , they were quite a lump , I have not own one but ridden a mates many times when I was an apprentice , the old days when some off shore bikes had the gear change on the wrong side  :doh:

the guy in question had a SS100  but he would not let me have a go on that


these are the days before you had to wear a brain bucket


I am basing my comments on his hand on the seat those seats were ample that looks a bit small , but as usual I may be totally wrong in my assumptions

I'm still not convinced ... that tank is just WRONG too much of a hump at the back ...

Stuart, that one you posted is for the 24 Hr. event. at Montlehery or whatever. It's not the standard tank. Presumably to increase the range as fuel stops decrease ave. speed.

The tanks were teardrop shape as were all the big bikes of that ilk.
