Thanks Bob! And Steve...... --- Quote from: fcheslop on May 16, 2014, 12:19:45 PM ---Nice one David . sorry missed it. Some good info on Jan Ridders site http://www.ridders.nu/Webpaginas/pagina_overzicht_happermodellen/happeroverzicht_frameset.htm Be very careful one burn and you become an addict and will sit there for hours twiddling flywheels round n round to find elusive tight spots and mysterious air leaks and once you got it running the beggar stops and the whole procedure is repeated but they rock. --- End quote --- Frazer. I dunno what you're talking about! I never have problems with my rebuilds. Do I? My beggars don't stop. Apart from Gold Blend. Which caught fire. But, we don't want to talk about that........ This one's on display, next weekend. Then up for auction, the following week. :D David D |

Great Resto David and the latest run sounds Sweeeeet. I'd lift a glass to you but never developed a taste for the amber fluid. Nor do I smoke so, Why aint i rich? Next job for me is to knock my 7x12 lathe motor into submission, it is wearing the brushes unevenly and I notice arcing running forward but not in reverse. Much head scratching and off to the motor rewind mob I think? Once again, Thanks for sharing your restorations of various orphans that come your way. John B |

Frazer. That is a beautiful, complicated, whirligig. Don't know how I'd even start to make something like that...... Very pleased, you've got it running perfectly, at last. Thanks John! I also have exactly the same afflictions. Consequently, I've always blamed Mrs. Drillin, for my lack of richness...... Good luck with the motor. I've had a couple of torrid times, with the same subject..... http://madmodder.net/index.php/topic,4962.0.html and http://madmodder.net/index.php/topic,6602.0.html and http://madmodder.net/index.php/topic,7560.0.html Several more orphans, still in stock. To provide future frustrating adventures....... :bang: David D |
