Small compressed air driven chisel or hammer ?????
« on: January 10, 2014, 04:35:00 PM »
I remember such a project and I think it was in here - some years back.

Small like a pencil and driven by compressed air.

I remember the picture of the man who made it - a portrait - (because he looked like my borther in law) - a very gently looking man, Black/gray hair, a wonderful smile

I've searched with no Lock - now I'm looking through Darren's postings - because I think that was the name (but there is no picture there today.

Help please !
Best regards

I have a small hand held air operated percussive engraver it 'sort of' fits your description. It is equipped with a tungsten point and I use it (occasionally) to mark tools etc. I'll dig it out tomorrow and take a picture (if I remember  :loco:).

Ksor.

That particular posting was removed, from several forums.

The design was much too close to someone's patented design. And, they complained.......

Still drilling holes... Sometimes, in the right place!

Still modifying bits of metal... Occasionally, making an improvement!
