Nice vids Chris, I like your simple method of setting the taper angle  :clap: , I would have checked it with a dab of Eng. blue at the end of your machining, but that's just me.
By the way it's pronounced ... Va-nay-di-um... mind you I have the same problem with nidim... neodiminum ... very strong rare earth magnets   :Doh:  so I should talk  :palm:

 I have many more videos but i hope im not boring anybody lol  you've properly all guessed im not a precision engineer lol, just a keen amateur stumbling his way through ,so any criticism/guidance is always welcome
