Hi Simon, I think it turned out great :clap: :clap:and excellent videos too :bow: :bow:, to be honest old world type things are better with all the imperfections and doing the lining up and rivet holes etc by eye rather than being exact with veriniers etc, if you had made it without any small imperfections it would look machine made and not as good. You were right about the Yellow pages these days too lol. I wouldnt be too disapointed about the grinding stage taking longer, you will have learnt loads from this helmet and all you seem to need is a better version of what you built and now you know it would be worth the effort too.
