I concur with Davld,
15amp rating on he primary doesn't seem right.......
If the secondary is rated for 12 amps or so that equates to around 1.5 amps on the primary......

there ya go I knew I could rely on you all. After the comments from David & John I went and had another look with a magnifier and yep its a 1.5 so now all fixed :clap: I had those available so now the project is moving forward again. Thank you all for the help  :mmr:

Probably to be taken tongue in cheek, but I'm always surprised by the number of people who ignore the importance of fuses and breakers.  If it blows, there's a reason!

There is a fairly well documented report of some plonker on the web who replaced a fuse under his dash with a .22 bullet. Apparently was some time later it went through his foot  :bugeye:
