Indeed. I didn't know the Victorians used Botox. There's a more animated fellow briefly visible on the bank waving something around, and the guy in the boat seems to be trying to escape from him.
The interior looks really nicely detailed, steamup

Very nicely done. It reminds me of the fun I used to have with my RC boats.
He may not be smiling much but he seems to have the attention of everyone on shore.

The crate came about after not thinking through the installation of the steam plant (it was my first steam boat) I have given the bucket to a friend so will have to find or make a new one.

I spent 10 years working for a company that manufactured radio-control products in the '70s and '80s, and never saw anything with work that fine...
