First lathe project (wobbler)
«

Hi all,
Just completed my first project on my new lathe.
Runs well on a small fish tank compressor and also runs without a flywheel so I take that as a good sign.
Took about 25 hours to complete so won’t be offering my skills on an hourly bases any time soon.
Cheers Mick

Hi Mick.
That's a great little engine! Different.
So quiet, in the vid, I thought it wasn't running
That's a quality piece, for a first off. Got to be
very
proud of that!
Just think..... You can only improve.......

Real fine job on that engine. From here on they get easier and/or more complicated. The nice part is that the enjoyment factor also increases as you continue to learn new skills. I look forward to seeing more of your projects as you get to them. Thanks for sharing this one with us.
Cheers
