Hey folks!  Just wanted to get down my introduction, and say hello to you all.  Found this forum through a link on the Hobby Machinist site, and I'm certainly glad that I did.  Some really cool stuff discussed here - and I'm looking forward to contributing, if I finally come up with that great mod :)

I work on custom motorcycles - mostly vintage Honda and other Japanese makes, as well as making some custom parts on the mini lathe/mill.  I'm currently in Brooklyn, NY with a planned move to the great state of Vermont, in May.  Looking forward to having some open roads (at least in the warmer months!).

Welcome motopreserve!

Why don't you build a motorcycle that runs on snow? Snowmobiles are a little too much like safe little futuristic plastic cars for my taste. Get up there in the chill breeze on two wheels in a machine that looks like a machine I say and be a man! I'd like to see a little Hell's Angels action up and down the slopes here to break up the cross country skier monotony.  :)

Just joking!! Well we'd be happy to welcome your talent to Vermont, and the roads are indeed beautiful. After mud season!


(Can't help it, keep thinking about motorcycles on snow......just ideal for excitement while tapping maples, with a sap tank in the sidecar.......)
