Bluechip:
Hi Deko
Yuk?? It's a nice motor, better looking than the ones we have now. All look the same to me ...
Burr walnut dash ?? Swankier than 'soft-touch' plastic IMHO. And no Satnav, but then one doesn't need one with a flunkey to drive one around does one ... err...innit ??
That last pic. is giving me backache just looking at it ... :(
Best of luck with it ...

Deko:
Dave I agree that it is a nice looking motor, BUT, this one had been messed about with big time. The
wiring had ended up like a bowl of spaghetti. :zap: :zap: :zap: You are also right about the backache.
I finished the job a week ago, and my back is only just starting to straighten out. :(
Cheers Dek. :med:
P.S. John and I are still waiting for a visit.
Deko:
Hi Folks, it's that man again. :palm: If anyone is still interested in this VERY long running item, here are the latest bits. The first pic (if they appear in the right order), is the new base. The base shown in all previous photo's was only ever intended to be temporary. The second photo is the back of the base, showing the wiring Etc.. Third one is the clock face which is also black "Perspex" but at the moment with a protective film to mark out on, and the last one is all the bits that now need polishing. :( I hate polishing !!! With a bit of luck I may even finish the thing THIS YEAR. :poke:
Cheers Dek.
Brass_Machine:
I can't wait to see this one finished!

Me too, thought you had gone off to see the world or something, I have found the clock a most interesting topic. Thank you for posting.
