Which burner for a small meltting/heat treatting ? T-Rex?

Hello,
I was once trained by a gun-smith to make some knife blades and other woodworking tools and I have Sievert/Primus torches which I use for silver soldering and hardening.
However, they are a bit marginal for melting any quantity of bronze or bearing metals. My need is not big (pretty sure 90%+ would be around 100-300 gr of bearing metals or such.
Will 3/4" T-Rex be the ideal one?

Or would it be only marginal improvement over sievert? I have bit like this and some burners:

With the experiance i have had with propane burners buy or make the biggest you can .
You dont have to run it at 100 %
They are not difficult to build

I use a Ron Reil type burner for heat treating and aluminum casting. The one I'm using now is similar to the style shown on the hybridburners URL , using a mig welder tip.
A couple of web sites to look over,
