NeoTech:
And a little bit more has happen on my BF20 CNC conversion - slow and steady she goes. |
NeoTech:
And well, better late than never.. Z axis done.. |
loply:
Are those pulleys home made perchance? |
NeoTech:
They are home made.. The procedure is quite simple, calculate the pitch and pitch compensation, drill holes... mill the same holes.. Ream the holes.. (and yes its nescessary for precision). And then put the blank in the lathe and turn it down until you are in the correkt depth of the hole or measure from OD of your stock to the pitch centerline you just have drilled, milled and reamed holes on.. That belt is a HTD 5M not the kind with completely round teeth more like a "boob" profile.. (if you have ever stared down a womens blouse out of mistake .. you know what im talking about) ;D |

Not sure what you mean about the boob job....   I never mistakenly look down a woman's blouse. (Good job 'Er indoors aint around while I type...) |
