Belco lathe chuck info wanted

I recently got a new to me lathe, a 12x40" Sebastian gear head, of ww2 vintage. I got a 3-jaw, and a 4-jaw with it plus some other tooling to go with it, at a very reasonable price. One of the chucks that came with it is a, 8", 3-jaw chuck that says Belco, made in England. The logo is in the form of a cross, in a circle, with the made in England wrapped around the bottom of it. 
I have tried Google, and other searches, but have found nothing.
I am hopping someone might have some info on it. Help?????

Belco rang a bell for me. From waay back........ 

Then I realised it was "Brushing Belco". Cellulose paint, for my motor bikes...... 

A lifetime machining..... No memories of Belco chucks. Sorry!

http://www.worldwidechuck.com/  may be worth an email or call. They don't specifically list Belco but the one time I talked to them about an unlisted chuck they were very helpful.

Sounds more like a Pratt Burnerd chuck to me? Belco make motors so might be worth throwing a pic up here for us to have a look at? Chances are what ever the lathe is it will be based on an SB in which case you will all the info you need on that side of the pond :-)

I answered the OP over on HMEM.

"Possibly B Elliott Group Ltd. They sold Victoria mills and Cardiff lathes. Established back in 1900, so there is lots of information on the net. Still surviving."
