Lathe recomendations please
« on: August 17, 2012, 05:30:39 PM »
I have a lathe at work (a wee clarke) but I am wanting something for my wee workshop at home. I will shortly be selling my 200amp mig as I rarely use it (along with half full LARGE argoshield light) The money I get from this will be added to a fund to get myself a lathe. I am thinking of around £400 to spend.
It HAS to be single phase, really high precision is not required. completely manual is fine
Any recomendations, second hand or new?

I'm not a complete idiot, some bits are missing!

Its surprisingly good for the price with lots of extras available.

If it works, take it apart and find out why!
