Hi all,
I just pulled the taper roller spindle bearings out of my lathe's headstock (they were well worn), number on them is 32007X with H8 marked on the outer ring and p6 marked on the inner ring. I believe that the H8 and p6 designations refer to the press fits in the housing and on the spindle.
Bearing dimensions are 62mm OD x 35mm ID x 18mm thick.
Checking the Timken web site for taper roller bearings it seems that standard bearings are either precision class K or N with better precision of C class and then B class. ISO designations are P0 or P6 for standard bearings and P5/P4 for better precision.
I want to get two bearings with class C (Timken designation) or class P5 (ISO designation) - provided they are not too costly, otherwise I'll have to settle for class N (class P6). I'd also be interested in the price of class B (class P4) bearings.
Can someone tell me where I can get them? I am in Australia so getting them here is preferable but so far I have drawn a blank.

I have no preference for make as long as they are a good quality from a well known maker.
Thanks,
Dave.
