Well as the title says the web site was in my friends monthly column. In Live Steam & Outdoor Railroading magazine.
the website is wide and varied in content but what is of interest is the propane fired furnace for casting of cast iron wheels for his locomotive.
and the 2d CAD program he wrote. jdraft a free download.
Is the site with all the things listed on the left side of the page
Or
jdraft
new furnace part I
new furnace part II
propane fired furnace
and for a quick pattern making lesson
here
All in all his site is great with more computer stuff than I will ever use but still, a delightful way to spend the afternoon as it still only 28'F out.
It gives a good account of some of the books I have reviewed and somebodies odyssey of building it.
Also his Variable Frequency Drive for Myford Super 7
