This posting is evoking lovely memories of some 30 odd years ago.
I boxed a junior hacksaw, small hammer, assorted nails and wood offcuts as one of my son's Christmas presents...... :D
He loved it! And still remembers....... :thumbup:
Even though his practical skills now, are much less than they were then......... :bang:

Santa delivered a framed woodsaw (where the blade had been replaced with a fine teethed metal hacksaw), the usual set of tools (excluding the sharp edged ones), a hand made wooden mallet (the one that should be used on wood chisels, but ..) and
hear! hear!
a battery powered screwdriver with drill chuck and bits!!

Giving me great ideas for my daughters up coming birthday.!! Nice going guys, great idea.
The only secondary changes I`ll have to make is to paint the handles pink.
