I Have G.A.S. (Gear Addiction Syndrome). I've been lurking around for a while and gleaming lots of great info, and I'm becoming more and more excited about spending time making chips of metal
Iv'e Raced 1/24 Model Slot Cars for over 30 years and am now Semi-Retired (Health Reasons) over the Last year or so I've become increasingly Board with slot cars. I've had a Small Unimat SL for 7-8 years now, and my main use has been to modify slot car parts, motors and Building specialized tooling for Slot cars. I've also been involved in Hot Rodding and Motorcycles. I Grew up around guys that instilled the Hot Rod Ethic in me, so I'm more interested in building tooling, then finding a use for it. so one of my big Problems is I enjoy spending time Making parts, but still have no application in mind other than using the tooling I have to make more tooling. Currently I live in a rather small Apt, so everything I do has to be on a SMALL scale. so My shop Just Happens to be in My Drafting Studio, that I happen to also sleep in. I also still do Drafting and Industrial Illustration o a consulting Basis to earn extra income. I've attached some examples of my illustration work.
