My new toy
« on: February 26, 2012, 06:57:23 AM »
 Hello Gentlemen:wave:
Recently I brought a microscope on EBay, very cheap (one cent) but as always Ill got it wrong, the shipping was $56…

However I hook it up on my computer with a usb-cable, and it worked perfectly. I was however not so very pleased of the stand..
The solution was to make something by myself.  :smart:
First I’ll make a bunch of parts.  I wanted to have the stands on my mill so I’ll begin with a t-nut, well you can see the parts and get the picture (!).

Then begin to assemble the parts

And finally assemble to my mill.

The picture was not so bad either.

And I can make photos and video by puching a button on the michroscope.

I hope that you like it, I know I do  :D

Saw

My word sir what a great piece kit you have there. I want one I don’t know why I just do. That would make a great layout accessory or tool set up aid on any machine. I have a bore scope I rarely use because it’s too awkward but that thing would be magic you can clearly see on the screen in real time keep us informed if you mod it.

Anthony.
If you cant fix it, get another hobby.

I've seen those on ebay and been tempted to buy one.  Looks like they give pretty good magnification.
