Chuck in E. TN:
Thanks for the encouragement, folks. Looks like I'm just impatent... The dialation has subsided along with the light sensitivity. Double vision is now gone also. Other than that, the op eye is still cloudy as before the surgery. We'll see what the Dr. says tomorrow. Chuck in E. TN |

Hope you fully recover quickly. EVERYONE i know that has had the operation has said it was worth every bit of pain and discomfort. You should notice a big difference in very short order. Lots of trauma to the eye from the surgery. Just give it some time. Keep us posted. |

 Stick with it Chuck, I had both eyes done, second one six weeks after first. I suffered badly with the second one and was very sensitive to light for at least twelve months but all OK now. You will find that it will cloud over in about six to twelve months and you will need laser eye treatment to blast a clear hole over the surface of the plastic implant..... absolutely painless. I cannot now believe the improvement in my vision, I had worn glasses for 45 years before the op, now I only need them to read and for close work in the workshop. You will not regret having it done. |

I had both eyes done in Oct. and Nov. of 2006. To this day I have had no cloudiness. My wife had hers done in 2004 and has had no problems either. That would set the Trial Lawyers howling on this side of the pond. Joe |
