Chuck in E. TN:
I think I was over anxious this morning. The operative eye was still cloudy when I went to the Dr. for pos-op follow up. He told me my pupil was still dialated from surgery and to be patient. The nurse gave me the same vision test I had before surgery and wow! What a difference. It is now late afternoon on day 2 an the op. eye is clearing. And, now I can see to read the forum with that eye without my glasses! Joy! Joy! Now my good eye is my bad eye. Doc says I can have that one done in a month! Haleluya! Don't hesitate a day longer than necessary! Chuck in E. TN |

That's great, Chuck! A friend of mine had it done recently, and was completely happy after a week, though the eyedrops had to be administered for a bit longer than that. I'm sure eye #2 will go just as well. Andy |
Brass_Machine:
Awesome news Chuck. I was just logging on to see how it went today. ** on a side note, I just got my glasses 2 weeks ago... Eric |

--- Quote from: Aestus57 on January 27, 2012, 06:32:24 AM --- You will find that it will cloud over in about six to twelve months and you will need laser eye treatment to blast a clear hole over the surface of the plastic implant..... absolutely painless. --- End quote --- Yep, That's what I was told before my ops and that's what happend to me. All done courtesy of the NHS. Excellent service. But only needs doing ONCE !! |

Hi Chuck Good to hear all is going well. I would not worry about it clouding over, they told me it may happen, but 4 years on it still ai'nt. Aestus, it must be all that horizontal rain you get up there. (only joking i lived in Forres for a while about 35 years ago) A point of interest to anyone else having the "opp". I have been short sighted all my life, great close up vision, useless distance vision. What i did not fancy was suddenly things being the other way round after 68 years. So i asked if it was possible for things to stay the same way (but without the gloom), no problem, they can put your vision anyway you want it. :med: Cheers Deko :nrocks: :ddb: :ddb: :ddb: |
