This is the same site I also recommended to you and also recommended to me by Stilldrillin, he is a good man, look after him :thumbup: Nice to see you got your lathe unpacked and setup :thumbup: As for a first project, I would say do something easy, in fact very easy and work upwards, please don't follow what I did and start with a set of castings for an engine :bugeye: I am sure David and others will recommend some good first projects, the like of which I have only just got around to doing myself. Great to see you here and enjoy :clap: |

Thanks for the welcome everyone! The lathe isn't quite set how I want it yet just a few more adjustments and lubrication needed. By looking at those projects, it looks like a drill press would be important? Would It be beneficial getting one? Ross |
