Hi Madmodders, my name is Lyn ( Male it’s Welsh ) I have been lurking for a few days reading some of those fantastic posts ( that V8 )
I have recently retired after 38 years with the local Telecoms company so time to play now.
I have an old Harrison lathe that dad used to play on, and I have just bought myself a small Mill.
Chester machine tools, Champion 16V, it will be one of those Chinese copies of some other machine.
I have spent as much on tools as the machine cost me so I do hope I can now pick up the skills to use them both.
The most I have done with the Mill so far is make lots of bits of Aluminium waste, I need to learn which tool I
have to use for what purpose too. I have lots more reading to do now.
Lyn.
