SPiN Racing:
Welcome to the forum!
Many many informative posts.
As I have said before.. Artists in metal here.
Not a shop ripping out 39284987 parts from a machine.
Granted I could think of a few things I would like to be able to buzz out a few thousand at a time.... :D

Dont feel bad :) I ask plenty of questions that boggle the more experienced machinists.
Im a complete novice.. but Im making shavings and learning as I go. SO I will be asking plenty of the hard questions.
I take nothing for granted, since its all new. Most things I have to stare at it and try to figure how to do something. Then I ask, and realise there were 20 different ways to accomplish the same thing much easier.

Yes bought this one new got a second hand mini lathe (chester) before and it cost me far more to get it working again than a new would have cost - and I was never happy with the results I got. That one is waiting to become a future project. (CNC/DCdrive etc.)
Thanks for the info on the wiper motor will be checking out sources for these things in the UK
Gerhard
