Picture Signatures......
« on: November 11, 2011, 05:44:00 AM »
Some while ago, on another forum, a member posted some of my pics on his website.
I was a bit miffed! But didn't bother making waves. Just ignored him from then on.......

Now, seeing what has happened to Roy, Wheeltapper.......

Is there an easy way to print my moniker, on all/ most of my 1,300 photobucket pics? ...... Or only on future pics?

You can do it with fastone

http://www.faststone.org/

Resize the image to save space and add watermark, I've got my pictures watermarked but that doesn't seem to have stopped them.

What Stew said....

Here's the instructions thread that Ralph did: http://madmodder.net/index.php?topic=4735.msg52263#msg52263

You can add watermarks to your photos ala bogstandard and Divided He ad, which won't prevent anyone from copying them wholesale to another website, but at least everyone will be able to see who the real owner of the photos is...
Cheers!

Why not spatter some thing like

FREE Liu Xiaobo

across the pic. Since any mention of him drives the Chinese Govt. mad.

http://www.zmescience.com/other/chinese-disident-wins-nobel-peace-prize-08102010/

The Chinese Govt. scans all internet stuff with anything like that on it, then blocks it.

So, with something like:

Nemmett 15cc - FREE Liu Xiaobo - .jpg

as a pic file name, the chances are it will get blocked.. 'appen ???

What do you think, dear readers ??

Now thats an interesting idea, when we we're in China the news came through on BBC that he had won the nobel piece price and before the announcer could finish the screen went blank same thing happened on CNN and every time his name was mentioned over the next couple of days.

That may be to stop them.

Very sorry for the delayed thank you reply, Chaps........  I've had a few, rather fraught days, recently.......  :(

Roy, and then Stew's project logs, have been posted elsewhere, as someone else's work.......

Can't see anyone doing that to my efforts, but the thought occurred, to watermark future pics. Then to retro mark existing  pics...... If it was an easy (simple) operation.......

Seems not!  :bang:
