HI all not bin on for a while I have started engine No 13 as per lots of pics the bace is made out of 10mm aluminume plate with a finisht lenth of 240mm by 70mm wide all dun by hand mad up the cilinder and the end cuvers and silver solded on the bace for the valve chest right pics |

HI just a up date I have bin on with other things and engine No13 has got left but I have bin on with it as with Meany things sum of the processes that i have dun IE the building of the Cross Head and the making of the 8 legs that it stands on I did not do any pics but i did tack sum of the making of the con rod and sum over all pics of things dun so far I cud have made the con rod out of 1 peace of brass but I decided to do sumthing different the man rod is of aluminum with brass ends I did not have any aluminum of the right diameter so i had to mashen a peace of 13mm DI dawn to a DI of 6mm the next bit no pics of but to a tach the little end the 6mm rod was center drilled 2.8mm then reamed to 3mm the little end I had all ready machend it up with a 3mm tale on the end by 12mm long this was with sum Bering fit and with the tale stock was preset in to place I then drilled a 1.5mm hole 8mm dawn from the top of the rod and I made a aluminum pin to go in then direst it off the cross slide end once a gane the rod was center drilled and tapt for a M3 by 12mm deep thread the cross slide was drilled on center 3.1mm then canter sunk for the screw right pics |
