Just what is going on with them now? They seem to think that all of the Great British public has become ballroom dancing fanatics.
Dont get me wrong I know they make some good even brilliant programs but ballroom dancing  :loco: :loco: :loco:
I think all us Brits should write to them and ask for more programming along the lines of "The Boat That Guy Built" , maybe they could use some of the hour they take advertising strictly come dancing for it?
Bluechip:

Nothing wrong with ballroom dancing ....

I have been known to do a fairly frisky bit of 'Cutting a Rug' with smoking hot stainless turnings down my t-shirt ...

The bbc have been churning out mindless drivel at the tax-payers expense for decades.
It's a nice cosy set-up for them, they're not likely to stop even if the whole damn nation wrote in to complain.

The only real solution is to dump the license fee and see if they can fend for themselves ...

You could try looking for the 'OFF' switch on the TV, and the 'ON' switch on the lathe ....

I blame LCD's. Much more satisfying heaving a glass ashtray through a CRT ....

dont get me wrong I dont watch the drivel but they seem to shove ads for it everywhere.
kwackers:
Having just come back from North America I reckon you should thank your lucky stars for the beeb - even if you never watch anything they show the moderating effect they have on the other channels stops them becoming the appalling ad infested content poor crap that passes for TV over there.

I must admit to having a soft spot for the beeb, whilst they churn out a lot of stuff I'd never watch they also churn out a lot of minority programming that would never see the light of day if it had to be commercial.
Won't last much longer though, we're on the slippery slope of commercialism and its days are numbered...
jgroom:
Hmmm....   Ill trade you ballroom dancing for "Keeping Up With The Kardashians", or "Survivor", or "Real Housewives of wherever..."    Oh hell, you can have them all.  :)

I actually find myself watching BBC America more than the US networks.....

Cheers
