A little off topic  :offtopic:

There was a time when a web search was easy to navigate but little to find. A few years later there was much more info to be had for all and it was great, you could find info on almost anything easily.

Today, it's not so easy. In fact it can be really difficult to find anything really useful. There is plenty out there now, but tap some strings into Google and you'll mostly find leads to businesses or an awful lot of dead links where the page has now been moved onto another area. The other annoying aspect is out of date pages that just sit there never to be updated in the future.

It's hard enough now, but what will it be like in another 5 or 10 years and beyond as I guess all the above will simply increase at an exponential rate.

Bernd:
I'll have to agree with that. Who knows what the future will bring. Probably total chaos.

I'm sure if you put the word fag in the search bar you'll get more than cicarette paper.

And who wants to wade thru several million hits. It takes a bit of knowledge to put the proper search terms in to get what your looking for.

Another frustrated search engine user.

Gents,

That is called progress.

One step forwards, two back.

Everything nowadays is classed as a disposable item, and no-one wants to clean up the crap that is thrown away and left behind.

I forgot to add a bit at the end.
