| Machinerys handbooks anyone collect them? |

Any of you chaps collect Industrial press machinery's handbooks? Just wondering how much the editions vary as thinking about buying the latest one but might buy the older 25th edition the one I sold. :( Bry |

I believe the early ones had info about casting etc, that has been dropped out over the years to fit newer technology. Dave |

I don't collect them as I have a older version from the 30's that was given to me, and a newer version that wife had when she was doing the CAD. Plus the best parts are are here in Machinery's Handbook Pocket Companion as it is a lot lighter :thumbup: They have really no monetary value other than, what the used book seller can get for them. From .50¢ up to a couple bucks for none current editions at the local booksellers. the one will no longer pay anything for them and I have seen people leave them in the free box outside the door. |
