Ok does anybody have dedicated e readers, Not the tablets, I pads or the app's for phones or PC's I have the phone and PC app's
I would like to hear from members with the nook, kindle etc. Lower dollar types I and a lot of people have no use for I pads or tablets, or notebooks. I would have one of those if I had a use for one.
I would like to get a reader, to use as I sit in doctors waiting rooms since I take both my parents to their appointments. Some times 4 days a week.
Since I see no need of paying big bucks for data transmission for occasional use, I have limited internet on my (dumb) phone. It would be a smart phone if it wouldn't dial the wrong numbers as I look though the phone book. Why the programers didn't think of a double tap to place call

I am looking for a reader that can use a lot of formats and shut off the wifi if there is none available or till I need it.
Anybody have the Kindle or the Nook or any of the other pile of readers?
The nook appears to have the most formats, including the e lending feature.
