Quobble......
« on: July 02, 2011, 02:09:26 AM »
I started on this project, some 3 years ago, before I joined Modder. Consequently, it's build has stayed on my other forum.

If you have the time........   http://modelsteam.myfreeforum.org/about21812.html

Quobble..... A four cylinder Mamod........ Because I thought I could.......

Had it finished in time for this year's J26 show. I was too busy....... Passed it to another member to do the running..... He loved it!  :D

Afterwards, put it away, and got on with other things. As you do!

Yesterday, I realised, I hadn't played with it!  :palm:

Video......

It does slow, too.......

Now, it's back on the shelf again......

David.

Still drilling holes... Sometimes, in the right place!

Still modifying bits of metal... Occasionally, making an improvement!

David,

You sent me al link by PM, just as I finished doing your displacer piston. You said then that you had only just finished it.

  Very nice engine David

I like the "Slow"  :D - there's something about any steam engine running slowly that I just like.

Very nice
I wonder just how many you could put in a line
A straight 8 would be interesting  :bugeye: :bugeye:
or a flat 8   4 each side
