Found this off of MAKEZINE

I nice write up from a guy who took some ore to fantastic knives. Good reading and pictures HERE.

Boy talk about craftsmanship. :bugeye:  That is a great find Eric.

Gives a whole new meaning to the word "scratchbuilt".  :jaw:

But it didn't look like he grew his own tree for the wood.  :lol:

There's some interesting methods there than can be applied to the home foundry. I just looked through at the pics. Will go back later to read what he wrote.
