Had a day off work (so i spent it working in the shop ) :loco: :loco: Made a start on the con rod , i was going to machine it from soild but decided on a fabricated job Finally a bit of stress relief Shoild get it machined tomorrow John |

How will the CI ring wear in the bronze cylinder ? I have only used CI rings in CI cylinders , I do use 'O' rings in bronze or soft packing Nice work BTW I am not criticising just asking as I am knocking up a triple expansion engine that uses a bronze block and bronze rings , I an thinking of using CI as i know it will work Stuart |
