Hi Got a little bit more done I needed a lump of bronze flat bar 1 inch thick by 3 inches square for the big end It is nice to have a furnace Flat bar cast up Machined to size cut in half then bored to fit the crank pin (i turned a dummy pin to dead size and one .001 smaller) To use as test pieces Very happy with the fit Jjust nipping but still free enough to turn) Con rod will be next John |
