AdeV:
I have no idea how I missed this project before.... but there's only one thing I can say about it: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: :jaw: Love the casting work, love the machining work, love the look of the whole thing (hmm, except for that crosshead block, I'd have made it curved to match the other bit - but hey, that's such a tiny nitpick it barely deserves a mention and besides, it's much better machining than I've ever done), and I especially love the sound it makes on steam at low RPMs - exactly like a steam locomotive. Absolutely fabulous work, John, if I can be 10% as accomplished as you then I will feel like I'm on top of the world. |
