Managed a couple of workshop sessions today.

Faced end of shaft flush. Tap drilled. Counter drilled 4mm. Tapped 1/8" Whit.........

Turned/ threaded some 4mm silver steel, to spigot 1/4" deep into original shaft.......

Screwed together,with sleeve retainer. All nicely straight/ in line.......

Bushed the shaft bearing and clevis to new size........

Assembled all parts, with sleeve retainer........

Got it all nicely assembled, and spinning freely. Bouncing off compression, when the knurled plug was fitted.........
Then, I realised me little legs had had enough....... And, tomorrow's another day......
