Kenneth had a slight missunderstanding with another member and choose to leave the forum.

I'm sad to say I hated to see him go.

I was thinking about him the other day when looking at the Mars rover and thought to myself how much better Ken's Robot was.
Probably too complex to last two years without maintenance, but even so I'm sure we have not heard the last of Ken.
At least I hope so.

Good to see you are still around.
I wouldn't worry about it, you get one in every crowd.
I never posted in your thread but always looked at the updates as it was interesting and you skills in not only design but machining and CNC where brilliant.
If you ever change your mind I will be watching again.

I know you where going to a competition, how did you go or is it coming up?

Ohhh!! ..... That's a shock to me!  :bugeye:

A disappointment too......

Never posted on Robot thread, I was rather overawed/ overpowered by it.... But really appreciated all you posted Kenneth.....

Please, don't lurk for long.

Sincerely,
David.

Very sorry to hear your not posting Kenneth. Your postings had huge number of views and positive comments on your skill and workmanship. I hope you can be tempted back here by the positives that looked forward to your postings. And hopefully forget the negative

Ken,

Don't know if you will read this, but...

I have been lucky over the years to have known a number of real craftsman.  These are masters of their profession/hobby.  In my lifetime, I can expect to number them on them on no more than two hands.  You are one.  Thanks for the inspiring articles.  Hope to see you back some day.

I always thought you should have been posting on some advanced, tools-for-science type of forum given the quality of your work and the skill set required. I did enjoy reading your posts.

Don't fall prey to the Anonymous Internet Bully/Idiot. It's easy to rant and cut on someone from behind the keyboard and there are so many individuals with insecurities and personal issues just waiting to pounce. What do you see when reading the various comments on the bottom of news articles? A fine display of the lowest form of human communication (no, it's not sports talk ).

Sorry to say that we need to grow a thick skin to stay connected to the new continuum, not like the old days where respect for one another was the order of the day.

Ken I am glad you are still on here also, your work and the fanatastic photography   :jaw: of it has inspired me to delve deeper into cnc and fabrication. I am a lurker and am in awe of all the work on here, as the other guys have said for every idiot who mouths off   :loco: there are tens or hundreds of us lurkers who take inspiration from work like yours. :nrocks:

it would be great to see more from you in the future, i easily (well) spent 3-4 hours looking at the cnc machining photos :med:
