A little bit of something
« on: May 26, 2011, 05:11:37 PM »
This evening an old work friend called around for his regular fortnightly visit.

"Got a little something for you", he said, "it must have been in my garage for about twenty odd years, and I found it the other day, as I was having a clearout".

I opened the box, and to my surprise, I found this,

An absolutely tiny auto tapping head, with an easily replaced 1MT arbor, and by the looks of the chuck, will accommodate taps of about 4mm and below.

I was only discussing this sort of thing on here a week or so ago, where I usually only do small tapping by hand.

Maybe I should have a rethink.

I think you will find if you look closely Bogs that that model has a reverse helix with inverted thrunge bushes that were made for use in the antipodes,   best send it to me.

John, you need to get new glasses.

The reverse helix with inverted thrunge bushes are definitely set up for UK use only, it was the first thing I checked.

Sorry mate, this one is definitely a keeper. :)

KRV,

You can play with anything you like, as long as it doesn't upset anyone and it isn't mine.
