Hello from Nottingham
« on: May 09, 2011, 07:17:25 PM »
Hello all
I am new in these parts but am hooked already. I have put some pics in the new from old section and have recived some really nice feedback, thank you.
I teach woodwork in Nottingham and enjoy most of that, well the woodwork side, if only that was all that was involved!!!!!
Wood is my thing but I like RC stuff and I am getting right into welding, got a nice little MIG set up and and having fun trying things out.
looking forward to spending hours one here hahahhaha, there is some mind blowing work on here guys, fairplay.

Welcome Rich, it is nice to see some non metalworkers joining in.

I hate working with the brown stuff, but I love to see the things a lot of the artisans on here produce from it.

You being a teacher, maybe a few pointers from yourself to help us non-woodies get a better understanding of the stuff wood would help.
