The main thing that helped on this was getting a set of reamers

and chucking up a wooden dowel rod to lap the cylinder wall. I then put a bit of brasso on the piston and cycled it back and forth by hand rotating it to insure smooth operation.
Those are some nice wobblers there snoopdog. I think I need a bigger drillpress not quite enough clearance for big stuff. The kitchen is getting a bit full though. So many tools to buy, so little spare cash and room (hmmm I don't use the living room much...)
Oh, by the way the nephews were THRILLED with the engine. Now to

something new. Figure out how much I can do with what I have. That being an 8 x 14 lathe and a smallish drillpress and limited machining skills. This shall be FUN!
